I Need Some Proof

A skeptic writes that he needs some proof to believe the claims of Christ:
"It is hard to sell something that hasn't been seen. Seeing is believing and a picture is worth a thousand words."
Jesus answers in Matthew 12:39-40:
"An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days, and three nights in the heart of the earth."
Jesus rose from the dead and that's the only sign you'll get as an unbeliever. If you won't listen to the Word of God, then nothing will convince you of the truth. Romans 1:20 says that all the proof we need of God is right outside our front door.
Friend, until you get saved you'll never be able to truly grasp the truth of God's Word (1st Corinthians 2:14). The wrath of a holy God abideth upon the unsaved (John 3:36), and the hordes of Hell want you there for eternal damnation. Oh, open your eyes and see! God is good and kind, even to the unthankful and evil. Luke 6:35, “...for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.” While we were yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly (Romans 5:8).
My friend, if you go to the Lake of Fire forever, you will have no one to blame but yourself for rejecting the free grace of God in Christ Jesus. God came from His dwelling place on high to save you from that torment in Hell. Christ died on the cross to pay your sin debt, so that you could escape everlasting punishment in the fires of Hell. How foolish and tragic it is that most people spit on God's free gift, because they love their sins and desire the friendship of the wicked world more than the eternal blessings of God by faith in Christ Jesus. God cannot deny Himself, because He abideth faithfully. The choice is yours alone to make.
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).
Jesus left His throne on High to die on a cross... FOR YOU AND ME. Christ shed His blood on Calvary's cross for our sins. Come to Jesus and find rest for your soul. Trust upon the Lord and become a child of God now. God will become your heavenly Father and give you His Spirit to guide you into all truth (John 16:13). His Holy Spirit will guide and lead you through this life and for all eternity.
We read an amazing Scripture passage in Luke 16, the rich man and Lazarus. Both men died. Lazarus was escorted by angels into Heaven. The rich man went straight to hellfire and torment. He specifically mentions the flames. The rich man had a conversation with Abraham. He begs Abraham to send Lazarus from the dead to warn His unbelieving brothers. Abraham said the following to the Rich man...
"And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead." (Luke 16:31).
The only proof of God that you are entitled is the light of the Word of God. It is shocking and sad to realize that some folks are so stubborn and hardened in their sin that they wouldn't even repent if a dead zombie came to witness to them. This is exactly what the Bible teaches in Luke 16:31. If a person will NOT listen to the living preachers and the living Word of God, then of a certainty they will NOT listen to the living dead. All the proof you need of God's existence friend is to open your eyes and look around you.
"The heavens declare the glory of God..." (Psalm 19:1).
Jesus is everything that can be desired and all that any sane person could want and more. Jesus is the Lily of the Valley, the Everlasting Father, the Eternal Word, the Savior, the Creator, our Protector, Redeemer and our Lord.
"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:9-11).
Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord—this includes Satan, every devil, Madalyn Murray O'Hair, Ted Turner, Hugh Hefner, every false prophet, all the popes, every humanist, and every scoffer (as well as those of us who will be shouting "Glory, Hallelujah! Blessed be the Name of the Lord")! ALL creation will bow to their Creator.
If you don't repent toward God by believing on Christ to forgive your sins, then you will perish. That is a sure thing; It is most sure. God has been merciful to you by allowing you to live another day to repent (2nd Peter 3:9; Proverb 27:1). Please don't die without Jesus. Please don't die in your sins and go to Hell.

The Only Proof You Need is the Word of God
In Luke 16:19-31 we read about the rich man who went to Hell, and Lazarus the beggar who went to Heaven. There is no reason to believe that this is a parable. The Lord didn't say it was a parable. When Christ did use parables, he always used non-specific terms; such as, “a certain man” went into a “far country.” Yet, in this story we find literal names; namely, Lazarus, Abraham and Moses. Furthermore, Jesus always explained after telling a parable what the parable meant, which He does NOT do here. Clearly, this is not a parable as Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, some errant Baptists and others falsely claim.
In the account the rich man begs Abraham to send Lazarus from the dead to warn his five brothers, lest they also come to Hell and be tormented in the fiery flames. Abraham makes the shocking statement (remember, this is the Lord Jesus giving this factual account of what happened)... Luke 16:31, “And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” The only proof of God that you are entitled is the light of the Word of God. Please don't be foolish like then rich man who ignored the Bible and went to Hell. One day it will be too late.
I've heard umpteen people throughout my life challenge God and the Bible. They say horrible things like, “I won't believe the Bible until God Himself hands it to me” or “Rich men just wrote the Bible to control the masses.” The late, great, Steve Jobs of Apple Computer, once asked a preacher if God knew about starving children. When the preacher replied “Yes, God knows everything,” Jobs never considered Christianity again.[1] Mr. Jobs is now in the fires of Hell, having died a Buddhist (effectively an atheist because he rejected Jesus Christ, Who is God). Steve Jobs had the Word of God, just as we all do, but he was a fool. Luke 24:25, “Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken.”
Are you a fool too? Will you also go
to Hell forever as Steve Jobs? The choice is yours alone to make. You can
become a born-again Christian right now, right where you are, totally for
free. All you have to do is acknowledge that you have sinned against a holy
God in Heaven, and simply believe (personally rely upon) Christ's death on the
cross for your sins, and that He was buried and raised up bodily from the dead
three days later. This is the “Gospel,” that is, good news (1st
Corinthians 15:1-4). Just completely rest in what Christ has done for you on
the cross (Hebrews 4:10-11). John 3:16, “For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth
in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Christ died, that's history; Christ died for me, that's salvation!
The Miraculous Nature in How the holy Bible Was Given to Mankind
You want proof? Consider that the
holy Bible came into being by approximately forty different writers (God is
the Author), most of whom never met each other, spoke different languages,
came from different countries and backgrounds, some rich and others poor,
some intellectual and others base, et cetera. The 66 books of the Bible were
written over a 1,500 year period. Yet all these 66 books harmonize and form
an understandable complete book which contains 29% prophecy. It is not only
astronomically improbable that such a phenomena could happen, but it is
absolutely impossible. The only answer is a divine God. If you think aliens
may be the answer, then consider that by very definition God is an alien
(extraterrestrial). God is our Creator, and He loves us. It is man's greed,
lust and hatred that has ruined the world, not God. The problem is not that
God doesn't love man, but that man doesn't love God.

complex watches and magnificent computer CPU's formed by random, chaotic,
explosions in a lab; as it would be to conclude that the intelligent design of
the universe and all life on earth came about by massive explosions and
chaotic, random, evolutionary process without a divine Maker, Who is God. Have
you been blinded by sin, willful ignorance and the rantings of unsaved madmen.
God's Unconditional Love Toward Us
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
1st John 4:16-19, “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us.”
Do you believe that God loves you as the holy Bible teaches? 1st John 4:16 says they BELIEVED that God loved them. God is love! One of the biggest complaints that I hear from the unsaved world is that God couldn't possibly be a loving God. They focus on man's problems and the mess which men have caused, so then they blame God instead of man. The truth is that a wicked person will always look for reasons to attack and discredit God, the Bible and Christians. They aren't really interested in learning the truth. They are just looking for more excuses to justify their wickedness. Most people today are ingrates, attacking God's integrity and goodness.
God loves you. If you don't believe it, go to the fresh produce area of your nearest large supermarket and behold all the wonderful fruits and vegetables. Look at their assorted colors, seeds, shapes, textures, smell and best of all, flavors! That's a pretty awesome God!!! Only a complete idiot and ingrate would claim that evolution produced such miracles! God gave us tomatoes for our pizza. God gave us limes for our Mexican food. He gave us onions for just about every tasty meal. The Lord gave us a choice of beef, chicken, pork, veal, fish and more. God gave us lettuce for a great crispy delicious salad, and He gave us potatoes for that awesome meat and potatoes dinner. God gave us bok choy vegetables, and red and green bell peppers, et cetera. The Lord gave us apples and oranges, olives and cucumbers. The very same people who enjoy all of these wonderful gifts from God, curse His name and blame God for the problems in their life and this world. Ingrates!
When we consider all the blessings of God
that He has given to us in life... our ears, eyes, feet, hands, being able to
freely breathe, walking, talking, riding a bike, playing a guitar, singing, et
cetera... we are all so very blessed. And even if you're missing some of these
blessings and are blind, or perhaps can't walk, you still have all the other
precious blessings to enjoy and ought to praise the Lord's goodness for them.
Amen! Praise ye the Lord, for He is worthy of our praise! God is Good! GOD IS
SO GOOD TO ALL OF US!!! Psalms 145:9, “The LORD is good to all: and his
tender mercies are over all his works.”
The Believer and God's Unconditional Love
The apostle Paul said that even if he could speak with the tongues of angels, his words would be as a bunch of meaningless noise to the lost world if there were no accompanying love. 1st Corinthians 13:1, “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.” If there's one thing that the sinful world needs to know, it is that God loves them AS THEY ARE and so do we.
Yet at the same time we must never compromise our Biblical convictions, moral standards and our Christian faith. Loving someone unconditionally does NOT mean accepting their homosexuality, adultery, false religion or any other wickedness. It simply means that we let ungodly sinners know that God loves them in their sins, just as He loves Christians in their sins (every Christian still commits sin every day), and we keep presenting the Gospel to them in prayerful hope that they will get saved.
It is a shame that one of the biggest problems on the mission field today is missionaries getting along with other missionaries. They fight like cats and dogs. It's no better in our evangelical churches, bickering and biting, devouring one another in envy, hatred and gossip. John 13:35, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” When believers won't get along with each others, people go to Hell, because they don't want to be a part of that hateful kind of heathendom.
If you don't see God in your life, then you haven't been accepting God's unconditional love for you in Christ Jesus. The Bible is a love letter from God to humanity. Any child can understand the Bible if they want to. The King James Bible (KJB) reads at a 5th grade reading level. The corrupted New International Version (NIV) reads at a 7th grade level. Read the Bible about God's unconditional love for you and YOU WILL FIND GOD. Most people are looking for God in all the wrong places. Proverbs 17:24, “Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth.” Are your eyes searching in the ends of the earth for that which is right in front of you?
2nd Timothy 3:7, “Ever
learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” If
you don't have the truth, it is only because you refuse to accept it, and are
searching for answers that don't exist elsewhere. You'll be ever-learning as
the Bible says in 2nd Timothy 3:7, but you'll be an educated fool who never
finds the truth until you receive the Bible, which are God's inspired Words.
Don't Be An Ingrate Toward God
Romans 1:19-21, “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”
Most people who attack, blaspheme, question and criticize God do so because they are unthankful and are bitter against the Lord. Most people have unresolved issues with God. Most people don't really believe that God loves them. Since most religious people are harsh, non-understanding, unloving and rejecting of ungodly sinners, those folks think that God also hates them. It is our duty as members of the Church to reach out with Christ's love to the dying ungodly world, and show them by word, example and deed that God unconditionally loves even the vilest sinner (while equally hating the sin).
Many people are like brute beasts, total ingrates. Of all the precious things that God gives to them—the life of their child, a healthy body, money, fame, good times, friends, their career, et cetera; that same person will blaspheme God's goodness by blaming God for everything bad that happens in the world. It's always God's fault, because He could have stopped it. Isn't that about the way most people think about God. Countless soul are going to plunge into the fires of Hell, simply because they have been so caught up into the sinful world's hateful attitude toward God that they fail to see the love which God has for them anymore. In other words, you're not going to see the unconditinal love of God in your own personal life, when you're distracted and misled by Christ-haters and blasphemers, partying and high on cocaine all the time.
I've learned that many people just don't want God (Romans 1:28), Jesus, the Bible or Christianity, so instead what they do is choose some atheist hero that they can cling to and make their mentor. For many atheists, that man is Comedian George Carlin, who blasphemed God all the time prior to his death. Most people refuse to study the matter, to research and find out if any of the religions make sense. The great danger is that to the unsaved person, false religions appeal to human rational which seems logical, so many ignorantly join. Once a part of the group, it's almost impossible to break free. So what do we do? The answer is to study the inspired Word of God. Get you a good Unger's Bible Dictionary for study. Get you a King James Bible to love and cherish. Also, a Vine's Exhaustive Concordance of Hebrew and Greek Words. This is the best place to start. I also like HALLEY'S BIBLE HANDBOOK.
It is tragic that comedian Robin Williams died today
at age 63 without Christ as his Savior. There's only one place that Mr.
Williams can now go to spend eternity, and that is to the Lake of Fire!!!
Jesus warned that except a man be born-again by the Spirit of God, he cannot
enter into the Kingdom of God (John 3:5-7). There is no evidence to believe
that either Robin Williams, nor his mother who followed the demonic
Christian Science religion, or Robin's father who followed the demonic
Episcopalian religion, were saved at all. I fear that all three of them are
sufferings in the torments of Hellfire. It makes me cry thinking about it, but
it is Bible truth. The Bible says what it says. The message of the Gospel is
very clear and easy to understand. It is a free gift to have eternal life.
The Righteous (Just) Shall Live by Faith
Habakkuk 2:4, “Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.”
Notice that the righteous do not live by WORKS, but by FAITH. There's no human effort, or giving up sinful bad habits, or abandoning the world's ways to be saved. It a matter of receiving from the Lord, and not a matter of us giving to God to impress Him. In salvation, eternal life is received, not achieved. You cannot impress God to get into Heaven. The only thing that impresses God is when we are impressed with what His Son Jesus did on the cross to pay PAY ALL OUR SINS, so that we can be saved. We are saved by God's Righteousness, and not by our own deeds in any way. Our part is to believe on the Savior, and God does the rest from there. Salvation is of the Lord. Amen!
Only a complete fool would believe that a Big Bang started the universe, then followed by chaotic, random, evolution resulted in an orderly universe having structure, incredible intelligent design and deliberate complexity. If you have doubts about God's existence, it is only because you have been starring into the abyss of the sinful world for so long that you've become disillusioned toward reality. If you start looking in the right directions, you'll find God everywhere. Look up at the stars and you'll see God's handiwork. Look down at the ground and behold the marvelous dust of the earth from which all human flesh exists. Evolution could not do that! Any child knows that there is a God, until some wicked person indoctrinates them with the lies of evolution. The best place to start is by reading and studying the Bible, for we are told in Romans 10:17 that Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God!!!
You may profess to be an atheist, but there is no such animal. I don't care what you believe, it is by faith. Multi-billionaire Steve Jobs refused to become a Christian because he said he could NOT live by faith. Now he is burning in Hell forever. Where did Buddhism get him? I guarantee you that Steve Jobs is a believer now, but it's too late for him. Romans 1:20 in the holy Bible says that everything visible is clear evidence of the invisible Godhead and His eternal power... “so that they are without excuse” (King James Bible). Please don't go to Hell in your sin of unbelief. I promise you that YOU WILL become a believer the first 10 seconds in the Lake of Fire. Salvation is the simplest thing in the world.
If you're a Christian, have you ever wondered why anyone would be so foolish as to turn down God's free gift of eternal life, by childlike faith in Jesus Christ? I mean, it's free. God doesn't require anything of ourselves to be saved, absolutely nothing, except that we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 16:30-31). So why do billions of people reject God's free gift? The answer is love for sin. John 3:20, “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” I've witnessed to lost people who actually said they didn't want to get saved because they didn't want the “HOLY” Spirit in them.
Romans 1:28, “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.” Many people have decided to have reprobate minds, because they don't want anything to do with a HOLY GOD. You see, you don't have to cease from sinful living to be saved, but when you do get saved and God's HOLY SPIRIT moves into your body to live (1st Corinthians 3:16-17), you won't be able to enjoy sin to the same degree which you always had as an unsaved person. In fact, you will be miserable because God will chastise and scourge you as His child (Hebrews 12:6-8). This is why the sinful world hates the Word of God, hates Jesus and hates Christianity (John 15:19).
And by the way, this is why there is no need for the senseless false doctrine of Lordship Salvation, which attempts to force people to live righteously as a requirement to be saved. It doesn't work that way and never has. The change in a believer's life comes after a person is saved, if they are mentored properly by another believer, and the Holy Spirit changes them as they grow in grace. Part of The Great Commission is to teach new converts the things of Christ (Matthew 28:19-20).
Hopefully after reading this article, you now realize that you have ample proof of God's existence. It's funny actually, I've had people write to me and say that it was the blatant satanism in the world that led them to believe in God. They figured... if all this proof of Satan exists, then there's got to be a God also. They are correct in their discernment. Whatever it takes, I pray and lovingly hope that you will look to the wonderful Savior to be saved, before it is eternally too late. Isaiah 45:21-22, “...and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.”
